Boys Wrestling Roundup: City High Finishes 13th at Jack Mendenhall Invitational

City High had seven wrestlers finish in the top eight and finished 13th in the team standings at the Jack Mendenhall Invitational on Saturday in Ames.
Aurora Marmion Academy won the team title with 257.5 points followed by West Des Moines Dowling with 206 and Waverly-Shell Rock with 153.5.
City High was 13th with 67 points.
Zyaire Washpun finished third at 132 pounds to lead City High while Kane Willey was fifth at 285 pounds.
Chase Williams was sixth at 120 pounds, Malachi Clement was sixth at 138 pounds and Blaine Heick finished seventh at 190.
Cole Connell placed eighth at 126 and Caleb Maurice placed eighth at 157 for the Little Hawks.
