Anamosa defeated West Branch 56-47 on Saturday in a River Valley Conference cross-divisional matchup in West Branch.

West Branch dropped to 4-4 with the loss while Anamosa improved to 4-4.

Kennedy Simpson led West Branch with 18 points, nine rebounds and three steals while Ava Burnett had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Lexi Skay had six points and seven rebounds, Grace Hamann had four points and four rebounds and Emalyn Poe had five points for the Bears.
