Solon scored 25 first-quarter points and rolled to a 68-27 win over Grinnell on Tuesday in a WAMAC Conference cross-divisional matchup in Solon.

The Spartans improved to 3-0 with the win including 2-0 in WAMAC play while Grinnell dropped to 0-4.

Maddox Kelley led Solon with 15 points while Tate McCollum had 14 points for the Spartans.

Ethan Ulch had nine points and Simon Einwalter had eight points while Luke Merrick and Kaden Hoeper each had six points.
