Girls Basketball Roundup: McLaughlin Scores 28 To Lead No. 12 Regina Past Anamosa

Class 2A No. 12 Regina won its second consecutive road game to open the season downing Anamosa 62-33 on Tuesday in a River Valley Conference cross-divisional contest in Anamosa.
Addie McLaughlin poured in a game-high 28 points to lead three Regina players in double figures as the Regals improved to 2-0 on the season.
McLaughlin added nine rebounds, four steals and three assists while freshman Jada Wiltz had 19 points, seven rebounds and three steals for the Regals.
Adalee Klein had 13 points and seven rebounds and Maggie Sueppel grabbed seven rebounds for Regina.
Anamosa dropped to 2-1 with the loss.
