Boys Cross Country Roundup: Decker Finishes Runner-up at MVC Mississippi Divisional

Keegan Decker finished runner-up to lead Liberty High to a third-place team finish at the Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Divisional Meet on Thursday at Western Dubuque High School in Epworth.
Decker finished runner-up to Western Dubuque senior Quentin Nauman in a time of 15:15.8 to help Liberty High place third as a team with 70 points.
Dubuque Senior won the team title with 49 points and Cedar Rapids Kennedy was runner-up with 65.
West High finished fourth with 86 points.
Lars Hildebrand finished eighth in 16:27.4 and Tayson Cho placed 16th in a time of 16:51.9 for Liberty High.
Colin Finch finished 18th in 17:01.9 for the Lightning.
Michael Hanna finished sixth in a time of 16:21.6 to lead West High.
Jake Weiler placed 14th in 16:48.1 and Evan Merrill finished 21st in a time of 17:19.7 for the Trojans.
