Regina moved up one spot in the most recent volleyball rankings released on Wednesday by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.

The Regals climbed one spot to ninth in the most recent Class 2A rankings following back-to-back wins over West Branch and Tipton.

Regina (12-9) moved in front of Aplington-Parkersburg who slipped to No. 10 in the 2A rankings.

Liberty High, West High, Clear Creek Amana and Solon all held their spots in the most recent rankings.

Clear Creek Amana (20-1) remained atop the Class 4A rankings while Liberty High (14-4) stayed at eighth in Class 5A and West High (15-4) was ninth in 5A .

Solon (18-5) remained eighth in the Class 4A rankings.

Other top-ranked teams this week include Waukee Northwest in Class 5A, Western Christian in Class 3A, Denver in Class 2A and Saint Ansgar in Class 1A.
