Boys Cross Country Roundup: City High Wins Title at Eastern Iowa Classic

City High had five runners finish in the top 11 on its way to claiming the team title at the Eastern Iowa Classic on Thursday at Seminole Valley Cross Country Course in Cedar Rapids.
Linus McRoberts, Max McDowell, Jarris Prottsman, Emmett Palmberg and Jasper McRoberts all finished in the top 11 as City High won the team title with 39 points.
Cedar Rapids Kennedy was runner-up with 48 points and West High was third with 68 points.
Regina finished fifth with 181 points.
Linus McRoberts finished fifth in a time of 16:00.1 to lead City High while McDowell was sixth in 16:01.3.
Prottsman placed eighth in 16:03.4, Palmberg was ninth in 16:05.1 and Jasper McRoberts finished 11th in a time of 16:10.2.
Michael Hanna led West High placing fourth in a time of 15:57.9 and Jake Weiler finished 10th in 16:05.8 for the Trojans.
Evan Merrill finished 17th in 16:43.7 and Eli Dunham placed 18th in 16:44.9 for West High.
Regina was led by Brendan Olney who placed 32nd in a time of 18:15.6 and Corbin Daniel who finished 33rd in a time of 18:23.1.
