A week after making  its season debut in the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union Volleyball rankings Solon climbed one spot int he most recent rankings.

Solon (12-4) moved up one spot to eighth in the Class 4A rankings released by the IGHSAU on Wednesday

Clear Creek Amana (19-1) remained the top-ranked team in Class 4A for the fourth consecutive week after sweeping its way to the title at the West High Caroline Found tournament on Saturday.

Liberty High, West High and City High all appeared in the Class 5A rankings.

Liberty High (13-4) dropped one spot to eighth while West High (14-4) slipped four spots to ninth.

City High (5-6) returned to the 5A rankings at No. 15.

Regina (10-9) dropped two spots to No. 10 in the Class 2A rankings.

Other top-ranked teams this week include Waukee Northwest in Class 5A, Western Christian in Class 3A, Denver in Class 2A and Fort Madison Holy Trinity in Class 1A.
