Class 4A fifth-ranked City High had three runners finish in the top 20 in a runner-up team finish on Saturday at the Luther All-American Invitational in Decorah.

Top-ranked Pleasant Valley won the team title with 56 points followed by City High with 88 and sixth-ranked Dubuque Senior was third with 145 at the 30-team meet.

Liberty High placed ninth with 327 points while Regina was 28^th with 743 points.

City High was led by Abigail Burns who finished third in a time if 18:38.4 while Grace Hamann was 13^th in 19:16.1.

Eliza Doster finished 17^th in 19:23.7 for City High and Calissa Fruin was 29^th in a time of 20:17.

Chelsea VeDepo led Liberty High placing 36^th in 20:28.3 and teammate Mackenzie Maher was 39^th in 20:59.7.

Regina was led by senior Harper Erwin who placed 103 in a time of 22:19.9.
