Clear Creek Amana made its season debut in the Class 3A girls cross country rankings coming in at No. 18 in the latest rankings released on Monday by the Iowa Association of Track Coaches.

The Clippers are one of four Your Prep Sports area teams to appear in the fourth set of rankings this season.

City High is the highest ranked area team as the Little Hawks remained fifth in the Class 4A rankings.

City High trails top-ranked Pleasant Valley, Johnston, Dallas Center-Grimes and Ankeny Centennial in the Class 4A rankings.

West High dropped one five spots  to No. 19 in the Class 4A rankings while Liberty High slipped out of the rankings in 4A.

Solon dropped one spot to seventh in the Class 3A rankings.

Other top-ranked teams in the fourth set of rankings this season are Pella in Class 3A, Mid-Prairie in Class 2A and Madrid in Class 1A.
