Tracy and Regina Rev Up Offense in 59-27 Win Over Alburnett

Regina was effective offensively in back-to-back wins to open the season.
The Regals revved up the offense on Friday to pull away from Alburnett in a 59-27 win over the Pirates in the non-district finale for both teams at Regal Field.
Regina senior quarterback Kyle Tracy accounted for 329 yards of total offense and six touchdown as Regina improved to 3-0.
Behind the big game from Tracy the Regals rolled up a season-high 413 total yards and scored 52 of their season-high 59 points in the final three quarters.
Regina scored 21 points in the final five minutes of the opening half to break open a 14-14 tie.
Tracy connected with Savion Miller for a 14-yard touchdown pass, to give Regina a 21-14 lead with 4:10 remaining in the opening half.
The fifth interception of the season by Regina senior Drew Greve gave the Regals a short field and set up Tracy for his third touchdown pass of the game, an 11-yarder to junior tight end Will Litton that pushed the lead to 28-14.
Edwin Ganga picked off a pass to set up a 1-yard touchdown run by Tracy that gave Regina a 35-14 halftime lead.
Tracy finished 12-of-19 passing for 206 yards and four touchdowns passing throwing touchdown passes to four different players.
Greve caught three passes for 73 yards and Tate Wallace had four receptions for 30 yards.
Senior Carter Slager caught a 5-yard touchdown pass and Gangba hauled in a 66-yard touchdown pass in the second half.
Tracy also rushed for 123 yards and two touchdowns.
Miller added 49 rushing yards and a rushing touchdowns for the Regals while Aaron Honore rushed for 16 yards.
Regina will travel to Cardinal (0-3) to open district play next Friday.
Alburnett dropped to 2-1 with the loss.
