City High and Clear Creek Amana held spots in the third edition of the Iowa Association of Track Coaches cross country rankings that were released on Monday.

City High remained second in the Class 4A rankings trailing top-ranked Cedar Falls while Clear Creek Amana remained No. 10 in the Class 3A rankings.

A week after making its season debut in the Class 4A rankings West High moved up one spot to No. 13

Solon made its season debut in the Class 3A rankings last week and dropped one spot to No. 18 in Class 3A this week.

Other top-ranked teams in the second set of rankings this week are Gilbert in Class 3A, Chariton in Class 2A and Lake Mills in Class 1A.
