Cassidy Hartman
Former Liberty High standout and current Northern Iowa junior Cassidy Hartman had 17 kills and 16 digs to lead the Panthers to a four-set win over South Dakota State on Saturday in Cedar Falls.
Hartman had six kills and 11 digs in a three-set loss to No. 13 Arizona State in the Panthers’ season opener on Friday.
The 6-foot Hartman was a preseason all-Missouri Valley Conference selection.
Jeff Bowie
Former West Branch standout and current South Dakota senior defensive lineman had four tackles in a season-opening 55-7 loss at Iowa State.
The 6-foot-5, 280-pound Bowie is a graduate transfer from the University of Iowa where he spent four seasons.
Levi Daniel
Regina graduate and current Bemidji State sophomore linebacker Levi Daniel had four tackles in the Beavers’ season-opening 37-17 loss at Michigan Tech.
The 6-foot-3, 210-pound Daniel had two solo tackles and a tackle for loss among his four tackles in the season opener.
