City High, Liberty High and Clear Creek Amana Appear in Preseason IATC Boys Cross Country Rankings

City High, Liberty High and Clear Creek Amana will all open the cross country season as ranked teams.
Liberty High, City High and Clear Creek Amana were each ranked in the top 20 of their respective classes in the Iowa Association of Track Coaches preseason boys cross country rankings released on Monday.
City High is second in the Class 4A rankings behind only top-ranked defending state champion Cedar Falls.
The Little Hawks return five runners from last year’s team that finished sixth in Class 4A last season.
Liberty High opens the season 10th in the 4A rankings behind junior Keegan Decker who finished third last season at the 4A state meet helping the Lightning to a ninth-place team finish.
Clear Creek Amana opens the season No. 12 in the Class 3A rankings after finishing 14th at the 3A state meet a year ago.
