Girls Basketball Roundup: Regina Wraps Up Unbeaten RVC Slate With Win Over West Liberty

Class 2A second-ranked Regina put the finishing touches on an impressive regular season with a 70-36 win over West Liberty on Tuesday in the regular season finale for both teams in Iowa City.
Regina closed the regular season on a 10-game winning streak, improved to 20-1 on the season and capped off a perfect 12-0 record against River Valley Conference South Division opponents with the win.
It was the fourth consecutive RVC South Division title for Regina which opens Class 2A postseason play on February 18.
West Liberty dropped to 9-12 with the loss.
All five Regina starters scored in double figures led by senior Caitlin Martin who had 15 points and eight rebounds.
Addie McLaughlin had 15 points, seven assists and three steals and Ella McLaughlin had 14 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals.
Morgan Miller had 11 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists while Adalee Klein had 10 points and eight rebounds.
