No. 13 Clear Creek Amana fell to No. 10 Bettendorf 44-27 in the semifinals of the Class 3A, Region 7 tournament on Tuesday in Bettendorf.

Bettendorf defeated seventh-ranked Pleasant Valley 40-31 in the championship.

Clear Creek Amana won six matches in the loss to the Bulldogs.

Freshman Cole Kasparek won a decision at 106 pounds and Jose Mendieta won by first-period pin at 126 pounds.

Sixth-ranked Nolan Howell won a 5-3 decision over seventh-ranked Duncan Harn at 144 pounds and Trace Robertson won by fall at 150 pounds.

Dylan Schrock won a 1-0 decision at 215 pounds and Vinnie Keller won by fall at 285 pounds.
