Solon had a seven-game winning streak come to an end with a 63-51 loss to Marion on Friday in a WAMAC East Division contest in Marion.

The Spartans dropped to 10-5 on the season and 5-3 in WAMAC East Division play with the loss while Marion improved to 7-9 and 3-4 in WAMAC East games.

Maddox Kelley had a team-high 14 points for Solon while Isaiah Zoske and Caleb Bock each had nine points.

Nolan Seagren had six points and Grant Gordon four for the Spartans.

Jaryn Griffith and Tait Rahe each had 18 points to lead Marion while Mason Wagner added 12 points for the Wolves.
