City High Two-way Standout Salibi Commits to Upper Iowa

One of the top all-around players in Class 5A has settled on a football future.
City High senior two-way standout Dominic Salibi announced his commitment to Upper Iowa on Sunday with a post on social media.
“100% Commited,” Salibi wrote on a post on X.
The 6-foot-1, 183-pound Salibi was a key contributor on both sides of the ball for City High this season helping the Little Hawks to a 6-4 record and a berth in the Class 5A playoffs.
On offense Salibi was third on the team in both rushing and receiving yards and accounted for 844 yards from scrimmage and 11 touchdowns.
Salibi rushed for 445 yards and seven touchdowns while averaging 5.6 yards per carry and caught 25 passes for 373 yards and three touchdowns.
He also threw a 26-yard touchdown pass on his way to earning first-team all-Mississippi Valley Conference as a utility selection.
Salibi was a first-team all-district selection defensive back after racking up 17.5 tackles including 11 solo stops.
A three-year varsity starter Salibi accumulated 1,015 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns and caught 41 passes for 511 yards and five touchdowns and had 28.5 tackles and four interceptions over the past three seasons.
A three-sport standout, Salibi is a multi-year starter on the City High baseball team and is averaging 3.2 points and 4.3 rebounds per game in four starts for the City High basketball team this winter.
