City High and Regina each climbed in the final volleyball rankings of the season released by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union on Monday.

Regina (21-14) moved up one spot to eighth in the latest Class 2A rankings while City High (16-12) climbed three spots to No. 14 in the Class 5A rankings.

Liberty High (14-20) is No. 10 in the Class 5A rankings entering the postseason.

Clear Creek Amana (35-7) is fourth in Class 4A and Solon (27-13) is No. 12 in Class 3A.

Top-ranked teams this week are Pleasant Valley in Class 5A, Cedar Rapids Xavier in 4A, Mount Vernon in 3A, Denver in 2A and Ankeny Christian in 1A.
