Solon won eight events and rolled to the team title at the Center Point-Urbana Invitational on Monday in Center Point.

Mia Duckett, Hailey Miller, Abigail Felton and Kate Shafer all won individual titles for Solon and the Spartans won four relays while racking up 156 points.

Jesup was runner-up with 94 points followed by Clear Creek Amana with 79 and Center Point-Urbana with 68.

Felton won the shot put with a toss of 35-8 and Shafer won the discus with a mark of 123-8 as Solon swept the throwing events.

Miller won the long jump with a leap of 15-9 and Duckett won the 200 in 26.26.

Solon won the 4×100, 4×200, 4×800 and shuttle hurdle relays on its way to the team title.

Clear Creek Amana got an individual title from Bliss Beck who cleared 5-10 to win the high jump and while Elizabeth Timmerman was runner-up in the 200 and Emma Karsten was runner-up in the 100 hurdles.
