Girls Basketball Roundup: City High Knocks Off Cedar Rapids Xavier For Second Straight Win

City High earned its second consecutive win with a 67-61 win over Cedar Rapids Xavier on Saturday in a Mississippi Valley Conference cross-divisional matchup in Cedar Rapids.
The Little Hawks improved to 6-12 on the season with the win while Cedar Rapids Xavier dropped to 7-12 with its second loss in a row.
August Palmer had a team-high 20 points to lead City High and had six rebounds and five assists.
Tessa Driscoll had 14 points and nine assists for City High and Emmy McComas had 12 points, three assists and three steals.
Hattie Galloway had nine points, six rebounds and five assists and Kaitlin Loria had eight points and six rebounds for City High.
Libby Fandel had a game-high 32 points, 12 rebounds, six assists and three steals to lead Xavier.
Carley Jonker had 10 points and four rebounds for the Saints.
