Girls Basketball Roundup: Clear Creek Amana Clinches Share of WAMAC West Title With Win Over South Tama

Class 4A top-ranked Clear Creek Amana remained unbeaten on the season and clinched a share of the WAMAC West Division title with a 70-18 win over South Tama on Friday in Tiffin.
Clear Creek Amana improved to 17-0 on the season with the win while South Tama dropped to 0-19 with the loss.
The Clippers can clinch an outright WAMAC West Division title with a win over Grinnell on Monday.
Averie Lower had a game-high 20 points to lead Clear Creek Amana on Friday while Ava Locklear and Kennedy Stratton each added eight points for the Clippers.
Kiera Rogers had seven points, Sam Schrage had six points and Lena Evans had five points for the Clippers.
Janette Cervantes led South Tama with eight points.
