Girls Basketball Roundup: Top-ranked Solon Gets Back on Track With Win at Independence

Class 3A top-ranked Solon bounced back from a loss to second-ranked Mount Vernon on Tuesday with its highest scoring game of the season on Thursday.
Solon scored a season-high 87 points and had three players in double figures in an 87-28 win over Independence on Friday in a WAMAC East Division contest in Independence.
Hailey Miller and Callie Levin each had 17 points and Delainey Durr had 14 points as Solon improved to 12-2 on the season.
Independence dropped to 3-11 with the loss.
Mia Stahle and Laney Johnson each had nine points for Solon and Kobi Lietz and Anna Quillin each had seven points for the Spartans.
Jaeda Rupprecht had nine points to lead Independence.
