West Branch dropped its first game of the new year on Tuesday falling to Camanche 54-44 in a River Valley Conference cross-divisional contest in Camanche.

Camanche improved to 4-6 with the win while West Branch dropped to 2-8 with the loss.

Kylie Pickett led West Branch with 13 points while Addi Schultes added seven points, six rebounds and three steals.

Alyse Klinkkammer had seven points, seven assists and two steals and Kya Montgomery had six points and four rebounds.

Lexi Skay had five points and four rebounds and Kennedy Simpton had three points and three rebounds.
