Girls Basketball Roundup: Top-ranked Solon Rolls Past Mid-Prairie in Final Game Before Break

Class 3A top-ranked Solon closed the December portion of its schedule with a 72-29 win over Mid-Prairie on Thursday in a non-conference contest in Solon.
The win was the third in a row for Solon and improved the Spartans to 9-1 on the season.
Mid-Prairie had a four-game winning streak snapped with the loss and dropped to 6-3 on the year.
Callie Levin had a game-high 22 points to lead three Solon players in double figures.
Hailey Miller had 13 points and Anna Quillin added 11 for the Spartans while Laeni Hinkle had seven points and Gable Knight had five.
Brylee Gearhart and Callie Huber each had eight points to lead Mid-Prairie.
