Solon will enter 2024 unbeaten after holding off Mid-Prairie 66-62 in a non-conference contest in Solon on Thursday.
The Spartans improved to 7-0 with the win, their final game before the holiday break, while Mid-Prairie dropped to 4-4 with the loss.
Rylen Stiegelmeyer had a game-high 18 points to lead three Solon players in double figures.
Jake Benzing had 17 points and Vince Steinbrech added 11 for the Spartans.
Austin Knight, Isaiah Zoske, Will Cusick and Jackson Link all have five points for Solon.
Ace Peck led Mid-Prairie with 17 points while Brady Weber and Landon Sullivan each had 12 for the Golden Hawks.
