West High fell to Linn-Mar 18-25, 25-22, 17-25, 25-19, 15-9 in a Mississippi Valley Conference Valley Divisional matchup on Tuesday in Marion.

Class 5A No. 11 Linn-Mar improved to 7-3 on the season with the win while West High dropped to 3-7.

Melae’ Lacy led West High with 14 kills and had 10 digs while Sophia Austen added seven kills and a team-high 12 digs for the Trojans.

Emma Stammeyer had 27 assists, five kills, four blocks and two ace serves while Jocelyn Jacobsen had four blocks and three ace serves.

Ava Bruxvoort had six kills and Lucy Schmid had 11 digs and three ace serves.
