City High Moves Up to Fourth in Final IHSBCA Baseball Rankings

City High climbed two spots to fourth in the final Class 4A baseball rankings of the regular season released on Monday by the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association.
The number four ranking is a season-high for the Little Hawks which enter the postseason riding an 11-game winning streak.
City High (28-12) trails top-ranked Ankeny Centennial (28-6), Cedar Rapids Prairie (31-5) and Johnston (30-8) in the Class 4A top-five and is followed by Southeast Polk (26-12).
Western Dubuque is number one in the final 3A ranking of the regular season and Dubuque Wahlert is sixth in the 1A rankings giving the Mississippi Valley Conference six ranked teams in Classes 4A and 3A.
