Solon Continues Magical Season With First WAMAC Title in Program History

Solon added yet another chapter to what has already been a storybook spring on Monday.
In a season that has already featured school records for low nine and 18-hole rounds and a WAMAC East Division championship Solon posted its biggest win yet claiming the first WAMAC Super meet title in program history on Monday at Wildcat Golf Course in Shellsburg.
Solon won the team title with a 349 to finish 13 strokes in front of runner-up West Delaware while Williamsburg was third with a 372 and Clear Creek Amana was fourth with a 381.
Led by Taylor Dee who won the individual WAMAC title the Spartans had four players finish in the top nine at the conference meet.
Dee fired an 83 to finish one stroke in front of runner-up Jaisel Bott of Williamsburg to claim the individual title.
Senior Lilly Houtakker was third with an 85 for the Spartans while Peyton Pentico shot a 90 to finish eighth and Sydney Dee was one shot back in ninth place with a 91.
Clear Creek Amana was led by Brooklyn Lee who shot an 88 to play fifth and Meg Berkland who fired an 89 to place seventh overall.
