Boys Basketball Roundup: Big Games from Arnaman and Trepanier Not Enough for West Branch to Keep Pace With Wilton

Holden Arnaman poured in 36 points but it wasn’t enough as West Branch fell to Wilton 85-72 on Friday in a River Valley Conference South Division showdown in West Branch.
West Branch had a six-game winning streak snapped with the loss and dropped to 10-9 on the season and 8-3 in RVC South Division play.
Wilton improved to 16-3 on the season and 11-0 in RVC South Division play, clinching its first RVC title and first conference title since 2005.
Reese Trepanier had a double-double with 23 points and 18 rebounds for the Bears.
