City High Volleyball Coach Carty Stepping Down After Five Seasons as Head Coach

After 20 years as a part of the City High volleyball program Tricia Carty is stepping down.
City High announced Carty was stepping away from her head coaching duties to spend more time with her family in a press release that was issued on Wednesday.
“City High wants to thank Coach Carty for her 20 years of service to both the school and volleyball programs,” City High Athletic Director Tracy Johnson wrote in the release.
Carty spent the past five seasons as head coach after previously serving as an assistant at City High.
In five seasons Carty compiled an 86-69 record including a 17-16 mark last season.
During her five seasons as head coach Carty coached 19 athletes that earned all Mississippi Valley Conference honors and led the Little Hawks to the regional finals three times in 2018, 2019 and 2021.
