City High had five athletes honored with Mississippi Valley Conference all-division honors for their performance at the MVC divisional meets last week.

Led by sophomore Ani Wedemeyer who earned first-team honors the Little Hawks had five runners collect honors in the Valley Division.

Ani Wedemeyer earned a spot on the seven-member first team while senior Iris Wedemeyer and sophomore Nina Peterson each landed on the Valley Division second team.

Senior Erin Anderson and sophomore Nicole Peterson each earned honorable mention honors for the Little Hawks.

West High had four athletes earn all-division honors led by junior Gabby Moniza who was a member of the Valley Division second team.

Juniors Erinn Varga and Cindy Wang and freshman Kate Van Waning were all honorable mention honorees for West High.

Van Waning was the lone freshman to earn all-division honors in the Valley Division and one of only six freshman conference-wide to earn postseason honors.

Liberty High had a pair of athletes earn honors in the Mississippi Division

Senior Malia Taylor landed on the Mississippi Division second team while sophomore Amelia Marquardt earned honorable mention honors.
