Baseball Roundup: Monticello Gets Offense Going Late in Shutout Win Over Regina

Monticello broke open a scoreless game with seven runs in the final three innings on its way to a 7-0 win over Regina on Tuesday in a River Valley Conference cross-divisional contest in Iowa City.
Regina dropped to 13-11 on the season and 13-5 in RVC play while Monticello moved to 14-6 and 11-5.
Cameron Lehman took the loss for Regina allowing six runs, one earned, on seven hits while striking out three and walking one in 6 1/3 innings.
Regina had three hits off Monticello starter Dylan Roher who struck out 12 in a three-hit shutout.
Danny Gavin, Jack Tierney and Ethan VonHarz had singles for the Regals.
