Softball Roundup: Regina’s Panther Tosses Two-Hit Shutout in Win Over North Cedar

Jillian Panther tossed a two-hit shutout as Class 2A sixth-ranked Regina rolled to a 12-0 five-inning win over North Cedar on Thursday in a River Valley Conference cross-divisional contest in Lowden.
Regina improved to 14-9 on the season and 7-4 in RVC play while North Cedar dropped to 6-15 and 2-9 in conference.
Panther struck out eight and walked two allowing just two hits in the five-inning complete game.
She also went 2-for-4 at the plate with an RBI and a run scored.
Alli Clark was 2-for-3 with four RBI for Regina while Avery Kies had two hits and drove in a run and Kennedy Connor was 2-for-2 with an RBI and a run scored.
Laci Chambliss had a hit, drove in a run and scored three times and Gabby Sueppel had a double, scored a run and drove in a run.
Courtney Kessler walked three times and scored three runs and Emma Nibaur had a hit and scored a run.
