Baseball Roundup: Regina Remains Hot in RVC South Division Win Over Tipton

Regina remained red-hot at the plate and unbeaten in River Valley Conference play on Wednesday with a 10-6 win over Tipton in a South Division contest in Tipton.
Six of the 13 hits for Regina on Wednesday went for extra bases as the Regals improved to 3-3 on the season and 3-0 in River Valley Conference play.
Tipton dropped to 1-4 on the season and 1-3 in RVC play.
Danny Gavin led the Regina offensive attack going 4-for-5 with a double, a home run and three runs scored.
Ethan VonHarz, Jack Tierney and Cameron Lehman all had two hits for Regina.
VonHarz was 2-for-2 with a double and two RBI, Tierney was 2-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI and Lehman was 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI.
Connor Nicpon doubled, scored a run and drove in a run, Christian Mills doubled and scored a run and Jackson Naeve had a hit and drove in two.
VonHarz earned the win in relief allowing on run on two hits while striking gout one and walking three.
Starter Jose Monestina allowed five runs on five hits while striking out two and walking two and Tierney worked a scoreless seventh inning striking out the side.
