Class 5A seventh-ranked City High had a five-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday with a 62-56 loss to Cedar Rapids Washington in a Mississippi Valley Conference contest in Cedar Rapids.

City High dropped to 16-3 on the season while Cedar Rapids Washington improved to 14-6 with its third consecutive win.

Kelsey Joens had a game-high 24 points to pace City High while Eviyon Richardson had 11 points.

Bella Cooley had eight and Andie Westlake added seven for the Little Hawks.

Hannah Stuelke had 23 points and 10 rebounds for Cedar Rapids Washington while Jaliea Havel had 15 points and Deja Redmond added 11 points and seven rebounds.
