Boys Basketball Roundup: Liberty High Remains Hot With Road Win at Dubuque Wahlert

Da’Shon Fisher poured in 27 points and Luke Ramsey had 23 as Liberty High won for the third time in four games on Tuesday with an 84-82 victory over Class 3A No. 10 Dubuque Wahlert in a Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Division contest in Dubuque.
Liberty High improved to 7-8 on the season while Dubuque Wahlert had a two-game winning streak end and dropped to 10-5.
The Lightning shot 57 percent from the floor including 12-of-20 from three-point range on their way to a season-high 84 points.
Fisher was 13-of-19 from the floor while scoring a game-high 27 points and also had six assists while Ramsey was 7-of-9 from three-point range.
Sophomore Graham Beckman had 10 points, four rebounds and two assists and Trey Hughes had nine points.
Griffin Kraft had six rebounds and three assists and Ja’Quez Hall had seven points and four assists.
Owen Swartzendruber had six assists as Liberty High had assists on 25 of its 34 made field goals.
