West Branch extended its winning streak to four and kept itself afloat in the River Valley Conference South Division race with a 41-29 road win at Class 3A No. 14 Monticello in a cross-divisional matchup in Monticello.

Class 2A No. 14 West Branch improved to 12-3 on the season and 10-3 in RVC play while Monticello moved to 11-5 and 11-4 in conference action.

Freshman August Palmer scored a game-high 23 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead West Branch.

Kylie Pickett had six points, six rebounds and three steals and Delaynie Luneckas had five points, 13 rebounds and four blocks.

Alyse Klinkkammer had three points, three assists and two steals.
