Girls Basketball Roundup: West Branch Routs North Cedar For Third Consecutive Win

West Branch pushed its winning streak to three with a 59-28 win over North Cedar in a River Valley Conference cross-divisional contest in Clarence on Thursday.
Class 2A No. 14 West Branch improved to 11-3 on the season and 10-3 in RVC play while North Cedar dropped to 1-13 and 1-12 in conference games.
August Palmer had a game-high 22 points, six assists and five rebounds to lead West Branch and Delaynie Luneckas had eight points, 11 rebounds, three blocks and three steals.
Sadie Smith had seven points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals and Avery Schultes had seven points and three rebounds.
Madelyn Stout added nine points and three rebounds.
