City High is back into the Class 5A volleyball rankings.

Coming off a week that included a win over cross-town rival West High, City High (14-11) jumped back into the 5A rankings at No. 13 on Thursday when the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union released its most recent rankings.

Liberty High (24-4) remained atop the 5A rankings while West High (12-12) dropped three spots to No. 14.

Clear Creek Amana (20-8) held its spot at No. 11 in the Class 4A rankings.

All five top-ranked teams remained the same this week with Western Dubuque (4A), West Delaware (3A), Dike-New Hartford (2A) and Burlington Notre Dame (1A) joining Liberty High as No. 1 ranked teams.
