Softball Roundup: Nibaur Tosses Three-hit Shutout as Regina Downs North Cedar

Regina used a four-run seventh inning to pull away from North Cedar for a 7-0 win on Thursday in a River Valley Conference cross-divisional matchup in Lowden.
Seven different players had hits on Thursday as Regina improved to 15-11 on the season and 12-5 in RVC play while North Cedar dropped to 6-17 and 4-14 in conference play.
Emma Nibaur tossed a three-hit shutout for the Regals, striking out 12 and walking just one.
Nibaur also scored a run and drove in a run in the win.
Annie Gahan and Kate Milder each had a pair of hits to lead Regina with Gahan drove in a run.
Abby Clark and Baylee O’Connor each had a hit and scored two runs while Gabby Sueppel had a hit and drove in two runs.
Emma Sueppel doubled and scored a run for the Regals.
