Baseball Roundup: Regina Gets Back on Track With Win at North Cedar

After a one-run loss at 3A sixth-ranked Solon on Wednesday Regina got right back on track with a road win at North Cedar on Thursday.
Regina broke open a tie game with six runs in the fourth inning on its way to a 13-5 win over North Cedar in a River Valley Conference cross-divisional contest at Lowden Memorial Park.
The Regals improved to 11-11 on the season and 9-7 in RVC play with the win while North Cedar dropped to 1-17 on the year and 1-15 in conference play with the loss.
Levi Quinlan picked up the win for Regina allowing four runs on four hits while striking out three in three innings.
Ethan VonHarz worked two innings of scoreless relief and Lucas Moore allowed just one run over the final two innings.
Cameron Lehman went 2-for-5 with a double and three RBI to lead Regina while Quinlan, Jack Tierney and Moore all added two hits.
Moore and Quinlan scored two runs and drove in a run and Tierney scored twice.
Danny Gavin had a hit and scored two runs, Kyle Schooley had a hit, scored a run and drove in a run and Declan McCoy had a hit and an RBI.
Sean Nugent scored two runs for Regina.
