Regina dropped a pair of games to Class 5A opponents at the West High Classic on Saturday falling to Davenport West 5-2 and West High 5-3.

The Regals dropped to 6-2 on the season with the losses.

Emma Nibaur took the loss against Davenport West allowing five runs on 11 hits while striking out four in five innings.

Courtney Kessler went 3-for-3 with a triple and an RBI for the Regals while Nibaur went 2-for-3 and scored a pair of runs.

Annie Gahan had a hit and drove in a run and Baylee O’Connor had a hit for the Regals.
Against West High Jillian Panther took the loss allowing two runs on three hits in three innings. Jaelyn Ernst allowed three runs on three hits in three innings of relif.

Kate Milder had a hit and drove in two runs for the Regals while Abby Clark had a hit and scored two runs.

Nibaur and Kessler each added hits for the Regals and O’Connor scored a run.

Ella Nelson had two hits and scored two runs for West High while Lexi Nash and Marlie McBride each had a hit and drove in a run.

Max Pech earned the win for the Trojans allowing three unearned runs on four hits while striking out two in six innings.
