Solon edged Clear Creek Amana by seven strokes to win a WAMAC Conference triangular at Amana Colonies Golf Course in Amana on a cool and overcast afternoon on Monday.

Frank Haege Jr. shot a 39 to earn individual runner-up honors and Lucas TePoel fired a 42 as Solon finished with a 170.

Led by individual medalist Zach McCarty Clear Creek Amana was runner-up on its home course with a 177 while Independence was third with a 179.

Jack McCarty shot a 43 and Mac McCarty and Stetson McIlravy each carded a 46 for Solon.

Zach McCarty shot a one-over-par 37 to earn medalist honors for the Clippers while Jordan Krauss shot a 44 and Jordan DeKoter and Carson Fox each shot a 48.
