Solon opened the season by edging both Center Point-Urbana and Marion in a WAMAC Conference triangular meet at Lake McBride Golf Course on Thursday in Solon.

The Spartans shot a 233 to finish five strokes in front of runner-up Center Point-Urbana while Marion was nine strokes back with a 242.

Camryn Keith shot a 52 to lead Solon and tie for the top score of the afternoon while Kaitlyn Jeter fired a 58 and Grace Helle shot a 61 for Solon.

Rylie Greazel added a 62 for the Spartans.
