Jason Lu and Daquan Johnson each won individual titles as West High finished runner-up in the team standings at the Deac Ryan Relays on Tuesday in Eldridge.

Lu won the 400 hurdles in a time of 57.42 while Johnson won the long jump with a leap of 20-5 ¼ as West High finished with 105.5 points.

Cedar Rapids Prairie won six relays and won the team title with 178 points. Pleasant Valley and North Scott finished tied for third with 97 while Dubuque Hempstead was fifth with 75 points.

Caden Noeller was runner-up in the 800 in a time of 1:59.15 while Alex McKane was third in 2:00.29 and Lu was third in the 110 hurdles in 16.16.

West High was runner-up in the 4×100 and third in the shuttle hurdle, sprint medley, 4×200 and 4×400.
