City High continued its strong start to the season winning seven events at the Mount Pleasant Invitational on Thursday at the Maple Leaf Athletic Complex in Mount Pleasant.

Ronnie Major, Parker Max, John Aschenbrenner and Matt Schaeckenbach all won individual titles for the Little Hawks and City High added three relay wins in a strong showing.

Major won the long jump with a leap of 20-0 ½ while Max won the 1,600 in a time of 4:47.33.

City High swept the hurdle events with Aschenbrenner winning the 110 hurdles in 15.7 and Schaeckenbach taking the 400 hurdles in a time of 58.43.

Aschenbrenner and Matt Schaeckenbach teamed up with Austin Rindels and Jovan Harris to win the shuttle hurdle relay in a time of 1:02.51.

The Little Hawks added a pair of sprint relay wins as the foursome of Major, Harris, Isaac Rohret and Akili Mattox won both the 4×100 and 4×200.

City High won the 4×100 in a time of 44.31 and added a 4×200 title in 1:33.72.

Bigad Gaber was fourth in the 110 hurdles and Sam Carlson was fourth in the 200 for City High.
