Boys Basketball Roundup: West Branch Stays Perfect With Win at Cascade

West Branch held Cascade to nine points in the second half on its way to a 44-28 win over the Cougars in a River Valley Conference cross-divisional matchup in Cascade on Friday.
Jeff Bowie and Thomas Gould each had 13 points as West Branch improved to 4-0 on the season and in RVC play.
Cascade dropped to 2-3 on the year and 1-3 in conference play with its third consecutive loss.
Gavin Hierseman had nine points and seven rebounds and Brady Knoop added six points and 10 rebounds as West Branch finished with a 28-16 rebounding edge.
Freshman Holden Arnaman had three points and five assists for West Branch while Bowie pulled down nine rebounds.
Cooper Rausch led Cascade with nine points.
