City High put two runners in the top 10 on its way to a runner-up team finish at the Hillcrest Academy Invitational on Monday in Kalona.

Rowan Boulter placed fifth in a time of 20:13.44 and teammate Lilly Reynolds was ninth in 21:10.92 as City High finished with 58 team points.

Class 2A second-ranked Mid-Prairie had the top three finishers led by individual champion Danielle Hostetler and won the team title with 27 points.

Kiersten Conway placed sixth in a time of 20:36.21 as Class 3A fifth-ranked Solon finished third with 72 points.

City High had two more runners finish in the top 15 as Lucy Corbin was 11^th in 21:15.05 and Iris Wedemeyer was 13^th in 21:22.63.

Solon sophomore Mary Fiala was 12^th in 21:19.68 while freshmen Anna Quillin and Ashlyn Williams were 16^th and 17^th respectively.
