Solon had three runners finish in the top nine on its way to the team title at the Williamsburg Invitational on Monday at the Williamsburg Sports Complex.

Senior Kiersten Conway led Solon with an individual runner-up finish as the Spartans won the team title with 38 points.

Class 3A seventh-ranked Solon finished 13 points in front of Class 2A second-ranked Williamsburg while 2A No. 14 Tipton was third with 71 points.

Conway paced the Spartans with her runner-up finish in a time 19:45.65 while freshman Gracie Federspiel was fourth in 20:21.51 and sophomore Mary Fiala was ninth in 20:49.22.

Solon had three more runners finish in the top 15 as junior Kaia Holtkamp was 11^th in 20:56.12 while freshmen Anna Quillin and Mia Duckett placed 12^th and 13^th respectively.
